Description

The Ceramic Drag Blade mounts in the Zirconia Drag Blade holder and is good for cutting very hard to cut composites and aramids, specifically in sail-making and aerospace.

Note from the manufacturer regarding ceramic vs. steel:
“The grind and hone is identical, so sharpness is the same. Ceramic blades are harder than carbide, thus, longer wear life. As a general rule of thumb, 20% longer. Ceramic, being harder than carbide, means they will also be more brittle. With a rigid set up and minimal side load, the ceramic blades will be the best blade for longest tool life. ”

These blades are disposable. $28/blade or $22/blade if pack of 20+.
