The Carlson Design Ultra-Sonic Cutting system is world’s simplest sealed-edge cutting solution when speed and accuracy are essential.  We ensure a standardized and easily supported system by integrating a JTE Machine Ultra-Sonic cutting tool onto our rigid Pro PTi gantry.  The results are a simple, reliable, accurate, and FAST sealed edge cutting solution.

The Ultra-Sonic Knife vibrates it’s blade at a very high frequency to cut thicker material like corrugated cardboard, rubber gasket material, carpet, turf, and even some plastics. The vibrations can also be used to heat seal material edges for woven acrylic: Sunbrella, blind material, and more. The ultra-sonic tool head includes a pen holder.

The ultra-sonic must be operated on a hard metal cutting surface. Cut Speed 15-30 IPS (inches per second).
